HON. JUDGE THOMAS J. KLIEBERT, JR.

Judge Kliebert is a native and lifelong resident of Paulina, Louisiana. He retired from the bench in 2020 after holding the Division B seat in the Twenty-Third Judicial District Court for the parishes of St. James, Assumption, and Ascension for eighteen years. In 2021, he was appointed by the Louisiana Supreme Court as an ad hoc judge to preside over the Bayou Corne Sinkhole litigation in Assumption Parish.


Prior to his judicial service, Tom maintained a law practice in Gramercy, Louisiana for over 20 years, providing legal services in the areas of personal injury law, successions, family law, and criminal law, among others. Additionally, Tom served as an assistant district attorney for twelve years, five and a half of which he held the distinguished position of first assistant district attorney.


Tom is an alumnus of Loyola University and Loyola Law School.
